ACADEMIC TEACHING

There is nothing more noble, beautiful, satisfying and able to make us eternal than the ability to pass on to others, especially the younger ones, what we have learned in the course of our lives. Obviously the first to inherit what we are and what we've learned are our children but beyond them the opportunity to offer our knowledge and professional and human experience to the younger generation who will play tomorrow our craft, a craft that has the privilege of helping those who suffer from a mental disorder to regain their peace of mind and freedom to choose one's own life, is an act deeply ethical and humane. The pleasure of teaching really is priceless: our experience and knowledge is not lost, but lives on in the young people we teach, and we give our contribution to improving the well-being not only in the people who we follow directly but also to all those people who come into contact with our students .

In fact, the real question is what we teach young people? I like to think that we teach them not just what and how to do a job, but we train them to become people capable of caring for others. The concepts are fundamental, science essential, but our ability to educate in the deepest sense of the word must be our real task, privilege and responsibility.
