SISTERS HOSPITALLERS OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Since 2009, I started working with the Congregation of the
Sisters Hospitallers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Hermanas Hospitalarias) becoming the Chief and the Scientific Director of Psychiatry, which I then organized as the
Department of Clinical Neurosciences, of the Clinic Villa San Benedetto Menni in Albese con Cassano, 5 km from Lake Como. Over the years, I assumed the scientific direction of the
International Foundation for the Support of Research in Psychiatry (2013-2019), I was appointed President of the Interprovincial Commission for Scientific Research (2013-2016) and I assumed the role of Chairman of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences of Villa San Benedetto Menni. In January 2025, he took on the role of
Director of Mental Health at ETS Suore Ospedaliere, which has three facilities in Italy (Villa San Benedetto in Como, Villa San Giuseppe in Ascoli, and Villa Rosa in Viterbo).
The Hermanas Hospitalarias organization is widespread in 26 countries and 4 continents and founded in 1881 by the Milanese priest, later became St. Benedict Menni, and is dedicated to mental health.
